Description
Phonyx Peptides TB-500 10 mg Research Peptide
Phonyx Peptides TB-500 10 mg is a single-compound research peptide vial containing a stated total of 10 mg of TB-500. TB-500 is a synthetic peptide based on the active region of thymosin beta-4. The common fragment sequence is Ac-LKKTETQ. The vial is lyophilized powder, labeled ≥99% purity, with lot number, expiry date and Research Use Only on the label.
The 10 mg figure is the total content of the Phonyx research format. It is not a dose and must not be read as a protocol.
What is TB-500?
TB-500 is studied as a thymosin beta-4–related fragment. Research interest sits on actin binding, cytoskeletal availability, cell migration, angiogenesis and tissue-repair signalling. Experimental models have looked at muscle, tendon, ligament, skin, cardiovascular and neural repair pathways.
It is not the same article as full-length thymosin beta-4. Topical wound studies of full-length Tβ4 do not transfer to this fragment, this route or this vial.
What research shows
Preclinical work in the thymosin beta-4 field reports higher keratinocyte migration, collagen deposition, angiogenesis, re-epithelialization and wound contraction in cell and animal models. One rat wound model reported increased re-epithelialization after full-length Tβ4 versus saline. In vitro work has reported about a 2–3× increase in keratinocyte migration under selected conditions. Those results belong to the Tβ4 research field. They are not a human efficacy claim for TB-500.
Phase 2 programmes of topical full-length Tβ4 in venous ulcers and pressure ulcers reported acceptable tolerability and a healing signal at 0.03% in one venous-ulcer study. That concentration, molecule and route are not TB-500 and cannot be converted into an injectable schedule.
There is no completed, peer-reviewed human efficacy trial showing that TB-500 speeds sports-injury recovery, raises athletic performance or provides a validated systemic repair protocol. A human half-life for the fragment is not established in completed peer-reviewed publications. Systemic safety, immunogenicity and dose-response remain incompletely characterized.
